We had just finished touring a women's cooperative in Kochkor, Kyrgyzstan - known for their creation of Shydrak felt rugs and embroideries. We stepped outside and noticed two children in the beginning stages of building with these colorful blocks. We sat with them and watched as their toy weapons formed. They were so excited to show off their creations and play fighting abilities. We were all giggling, chasing each other and hiding behind walls all while shooting at each other. They fired while I fired back.
