Water Abstraction — Daniel Lindh

Water Abstraction is a personal series of still life photographs.

I filled an aquarium with water and ran a pipe down one side, across to the centre and then a short distance upwards. The pipe was roughly two inches in diameter, so I could blow large air bubbles into the water.

The bubbles formed broad, crater-like shapes that changed from one moment to the next. I took as many photographs as possible, then selected the strongest frames.
