My practice is rooted in realism, but I am interested in what lies beyond visual likeness. Through oil painting, I explore human emotion, vulnerability, and the stories hidden behind a face or a moment.
I draw inspiration from literature, mythology, folklore, and classical art, transforming familiar stories and archetypes into personal contemporary narratives. The human figure is often at the centre of my work. I pay attantion to drawing, anatomy and light while leaving space for ambiguilty and symbolism.
I want my art to ewoke strong, meaningful emotions and invite the viewer to reflect and look beyond what is immediately visible.
