"The starting point for this piece is 'Where You Been', the 1993 album by Dinosaur Jr., which was the first musical record that truly impacted my life.
Drawing from that memory and using a simple palette of orange, black, and white, I painted a personal universe of nostalgic characters, animals, and houses that connect with the raw atmosphere of the record. To me, skateboarding culture and that kind of music have always shared the same space. With this work, I wanted to capture in a graphic and straightforward way how a musical memory from youth intersects with street art."
