Whiskers of the Archipelago (2026) is a 12-piece series (six featured here) in gouache and colored pencil, depicting six feline hybrids in two variants each. The works blend Indonesian domestic cat with native fauna, stylized fragments of batik, and regional landscapes, expressed through a visual language of pop surrealism, contemporary naïve art, and contemporary folk art.
