Submission Photography

Winding down, through the Air — the Light is still there 2026

The series I am submitting emerged from a sentence that kept returning to me like a quiet mantra: Winding down, through the Air — the Light is still there. Over time, it became the conceptual foundation of these photographs. The work revolves around two intangible yet essential elements — air and light — not only as physical phenomena, but as carriers of presence and transformation. For this series, I have incorporated the subtle use of solarization into my printing process. Rather than functioning as a visual effect, solarization operates as an expressive gesture within the print, introducing unexpected tonal shifts. Over the past year and a half, the darkroom has become inseparable from my practice, functioning as a space where each print evolves through a controlled yet experimental dialogue between light and materiality.
