Within explores the biological systems that shape human life beyond conscious awareness. Inspired by scientific research, the series transforms neurons, DNA, melanocytes, and immune cells into sculptural visual forms. These microscopic structures continuously influence our bodies and identities, yet remain largely invisible to us. Rather than explaining their biological functions, I isolate them from their scientific context and present them as living entities. By making the invisible visible, Within invites viewers to observe the human body from a new perspective and reflect on the relationship between biology, consciousness, and identity.
