Yellohland is an ongoing artistic project by Fabio Buonocore: a fictional society where everyone has been
reduced to a mouth. No eyes, no ears, no nose - less anatomy, more opinion. Its inhabitants shout, sell,
celebrate, complain, compete, flirt and turn ordinary situations into small public performances. Through humour,
bold characters and an expanding imaginary world, Yellohland looks at ego, attention, social noise and the
strange ways we try to make ourselves heard. The project moves across images, objects, characters and
environments, but its rule stays simple: Yellohland does not preach, it pokes. It is imaginary, obviously.
