Young summer

Fragments of a dream world – the world of childhood – where reality becomes blurred and where every object or presence seems to hold a mystery.
Nothing spectacular, but gentle, silent and contemplative scenes and moments: a glance, a moment of anticipation, a sense of closeness, a posture, an encounter. The marvellous can emerge in every simple moment.
The vegetation becomes part of the setting. It is enigmatic, at times enveloping, and seems to have something to reveal. Animals appear out of nowhere, and it is unclear whether they truly belong to the landscape or to the child’s imagination.
The child observes and also joins in the play.
This series invites us to rediscover that openness to the world where a simple moment can become an adventure, where a simple detail can open up a whole new world.
