Asya Sokolova is an illustrator and visual artist born in Crimea, Ukraine, and based on a background in fine arts. She holds a Master’s degree from the Surikov Moscow State Academic Art University and has collaborated with clients including A24, Esquire, Chronicle Books, and Kinopoisk. Her work has received two medals from the Russian Academy of Fine Arts, a Communication Arts Award of Excellence, and a Silver Medal at the Sreda Festival of New Design. Alongside editorial, advertising, and book illustration, she works with human rights organizations and media on projects addressing women’s rights and social issues.
