Catherine.JS is a New York–based artist. She holds a BFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts. Her artistic practice draws on techniques from old masters such as Pieter Bruegel and Albrecht Dürer, while celebrating the occult, literature, and pop culture.

Inspired by childhood favorites, from Mother Goose to Edgar Allan Poe, Catherine weaves tarot meanings into references spanning fairy tales, fashion, and mythology. Above all, she hopes viewers first feel the joy of storytelling and the emotional resonance of the imagery.
