I am Chiara (aka Fleuvyun), an Italian illustrator and painter.
My illustrations explore the fragile boundaries between identity, memory and transformation, creating symbolic, dreamlike worlds where human figures intertwine with insects, plants and animals.
I investigate themes of mental health, trauma, self-perception and personal growth, where vulnerability becomes both a wound and a possibility for change.
Nature is central to my practice.
Plants, fungi, insects and animals become psychological landscapes, embodying cycles of decay, dormancy and metamorphosis.
My work also reflects on the historical representation of femininity and the narratives imposed upon the female body and identity. I am drawn to moments in which the familiar becomes uncanny and the body transforms into a metaphor for psychological experience
