I’m a Colombian American artist living in LA, and my work is deeply intertwined with feminist perspectives and personal narratives. My process is intuitive and exploratory, often starting with sketches or photo collages before evolving through bold experimentation with color and paint. Rooted in the warmth and richness of my Colombian heritage, my work reflects a dynamic interplay of memory, contradiction, and cultural vibrancy. I am drawn to bright, saturated hues that illuminate even the darkest emotional spaces, creating a tension that invites reflection and dialogue. Painting is my way to hold chaos, confront injustice, and imagine new futures, it offers both a personal protest and a collective call for empowerment.
