My name is Madeline Eileen Goolie (MEG) and I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. I am studying art at Washington State University in Pullman, WA. I am interested in expressing extravagant, overwhelming, feelings through prints. My work is influenced by dramatic and exaggerated features that are often pulled from my own insecurities. I select certain animal imagery to include in my work based on their symbolisms. Printmaking is often a strict art form, while my moody art style is loose and free formed a contrast that is important to me in my process.
