My paintings look at the human being in its constant search for the divine. I start from classical training and the drama of Baroque light, then drop it into the present: sneakers, graffiti, fast food. Biblical and mythological scenes are staged by ordinary people in ordinary places, where the sacred and the secular share the same table.
Born in Santiago, I spent years painting between the US, Europe and South Korea, and that distance shaped how I see: figurative, but rooted in no single place. My work has been shown at GAM and Museo Palacio Vergara in Chile, at World Art Dubai and The Other Art Fair, and I'm preparing a solo show in Sicily for 2027. TeofanÃas, my current series, asks where the sacred shows up in everyday life.
