Francoise Nielly

I told ya I was gonna feature more painting on the site so that’s exactly what I’m doing. Fantastic oil paintings by Francoise Nielly. She lives and works in Paris and has shown all over the world (even right here in Vancouver). Such bold strokes with a palette knife – what’s not to love?

Our friend Brendan Monroe’s show “Mammatus” just opened at Curator’s Cube in Tokyo. We stopped by the space last week and it all looked fantastic — a nice mix of drawing, painting and sculpture (especially loved the ceramics). The shows up until the 29th so if you happen to be in Japan go go go.
