There has been such an overwhelming response to our Free Encouragement project with Design For Mankind that I’ve had to break up the submissions into multiple parts. Here’s the first 40 or so. Check out the latest batch of 3D-printed sculptures by artist and inventor John Edmark (previously featured here). Based on the same geometrical ratios found in nature, Edmark’s spiralling “Blooms” come to life when spun under a strobe light specifically synchronized to flash at every 137.5º turn.
