I finally figured out why the Flight of the Conchords album artwork is so awesome. It is because Tyler Stout illustrated it – AKA the guy who made that insane poster for John Carpenter’s The Thing – AKA the greatest movie poster in the history of mankind.

    Tyler lives like 10 minutes away from me… it a tiny town near where I went to high school. I didn’t know that until like a year ago when I saw some of his work and looked him up.
