  • great song choice for the trailer!

  • I just peed myself

  • Franz

    What song is it?

    • koossa

Not quite sure of the name but I know it’s by The Arcade Fire

  • d.no

So cool man, It looks like the new Neverending story! Also wicked song.

  • MARS

    ANYONE KNOW THE SONG?

    • d.no

      Hey Mars,

Its “Wake up” by the Arcade Fire, from their Funeral album!

      • Robin

Thank You D.NO! I looked all over the freaking web…and for some reason they leave that particular song off all the info on the movie and trailer…and its an awesome song..like its a secret?

  • oh my god! i loved that book when i was a kid. i’d even say it’s made me what i am today. i had no idea they were making a movie out of it.

  • Chance

I just bawled my eyes out I’m so excited! One of my favourite childrens books for sure.

  • Clif

I think my favorite part of this movie will be the sets/locations, its gonna be awesome all around but the movie is just soaked in atmosphere. Y’know what I mean? like I watch it and can just feel each scene.

    Cool

    • yes totally! Spike Jonze was the perfect person to make this come alive. It has that perfectly bizarre quality like his Daft Punk video with the dog.

  • dale

The only thing that made this trailer better was seeing Tom Hanks’ name in the producer list. I don’t know why, but he was in Big, so he knows a thing or two about sweet movies.

    • Kyle

Good point Dale, he also understands the meaning of friendship and hope – just ask Wilson.

  • alex

i just full on cried watching that, too. what a weird and liberating feeling, coming from a movie trailer.

  • MARS

    thanks D.NO !

  • Zulfikar

    I cried. Oh my goodness.

  • im so glad they are using giant costumes
    mmmm<3

  • Margot

oh my god i think im going to cry

  • J

This is fantastic. I can’t wait.

  • it looks so great. i can’t believe they used that song, it’s perfect. i also really like the natural warm colors. can’t wait!

  • M

spike jonze + childhood classic + arcade fire = holy shit. they are definitely working to make this a cross generational hit. so far so good.

  • I am now going to attempt to cryogenically freeze myself in my kitchen freezer until October when this movie is released.
