    Amy’s pieces are amazing but infinitely more impactful in person. The marbled liquid-y texture of the background and depth of color alone is beautiful. The story behind her subjects, their clothes and props make these lifesize portraits even more interesting and something the viewer can empathize with

Vancouver Art Book Fair 2016

The Vancouver Art Book Fair is back for its 5th year! Organized by Project Space, a non-profit organization dedicated to publication as an artistic medium, the fair takes place at the Vancouver Art Gallery, October 14 – 16. It’s also free and open to the public!

If you’re in the Vancouver area (and into books and zines!) you’re definitely going to want to check it out! This year’s multi-day event is bigger than ever, with over 100 local, national and international publishers displaying their goods, as well as a diverse line-up of programs, hourly talks, performances and artist projects.
