  • they’re totally better when they *DON’T* look like photographs. the weird perspective, the rockwell-ian hyper-real rich texture & flat, even light. but instead of smiling figures in barber shops they’re inanimate objects from my grandparents’ basement. poigniantly still shag carpet!
