Loved this video for 20syl’s “Kodama”, directed by Mathieu Le Dude and 20syl. Love to see more drawings like that little zebra that appears part of the way through. Watch the video below.
OK Go return with a fantastic video filled with camera tricks for the song “The Writing’s On The Wall”. I don’t really know anyone who is a fan of their music (I almost feel like this song was written just so they could do a video with a bunch of text illusions on walls) but it’s impossible to deny their ability to create truly incredible videos time and time again.
Watch “The Writing’s On The Wall” below!
Not really sure why you would get Mike Giant to draw with markers for a song called “Aerosol Can” but it is an excuse to watch Mike Giant draw with markers. Watch the video for Major Lazer’s “Aerosol Can” featuring Pharrell Williams below.
“Run” is a short film by directors Matt Larson and Zack Spiger, featuring several songs by Talisco, from his debut album of the same name. I like when these multi-track videos are done well. The story kinda gets a little lost by the end, but this film certainly has a spectacular opening, and gorgeous cinematography throughout. FYI: There’s a little violence and nudity here.
Watch “Run” below.
I saw Vikesh Kapoor perform the other night, armed with a guitar and a harmonica (there were some Bob Dylan vibes for sure). I wanted to share one of his songs with you called “Bottom of the Ladder”.
The video below was made by Randy Sterling Hunter and Zia Anger, the same ones who did that video for Angel Olsen. Once again they’ve exposed and re-wound a single roll of 16mm film to create the visuals.
