Video of the Day: Cold Specks “Neuroplasticity”

Cold-Specks-Neuroplasticity Cold-Specks-Neuroplasticity2

This is a stunner of a video, maybe the best music video I’ve seen all year. It actually feels more like a short film than a music video clocking in around 8 minutes. Gorgeous cinematography, perfect casting, this really is as good as it gets. More flawless work by Canadian born, Los Angeles-based, director Alex Takacs aka Young Replicant.

Beautifully shot video directed by Duncan Winecoff. “Friends” follows Raury and his friend Jeremy for a good old-fashioned road trip. That is, if they had Twitter back in the day. Watch below!

Music Video: Club Cheval “Discipline”

“Discipline” is the title track of Club Cheval’s long awaited debut, which doesn’t come out till 2016. There’s not much to this video; it’s essentially just a giant game of musical chairs, but it just has the perfect chill vibe without trying really hard. Directed by Paris-based duo Julien Choquart and Camille Hirigoyen (J.A.C.K.), I think this was my favourite music video of the week.

Watch the video for “Discipline” below.

Music Video: Yvein Monq “TWUN”

Here’s one of the most original music videos I’ve seen lately, created by Viktor Horváth for Budapest-based Yvein Monq. Various women struggle to walk in heels in this oddly entertaining, over-the-top, short. Watch the video below.

So Joe Connor just straight up sent a vintage television into space and filmed its descent for Kelvin Jones’ track “Call You Home”! Two separate televisions, attached to weather balloons, were sent from Snowdonia, Wales and eventually landed in Bury, Manchester. The television actually got 99.997% above the atmosphere.
