Brooklyn-based Richard Clarkson Studio and the levitation experts over at Crealev have come up with a speaker prototype designed to look (and float) like a cloud. The aptly named “Cloud” is outfitted with Bluetooth capabilities, LED lights (for the lighting effects), and a magnetic base. While not yet available for commercial release, you can check out a video of this whimsical invention below!
We’ve another a great giveaway for you guys from the folks at Ultimate Ears, and this time it’s an artist edition of their UE Roll 2 wireless bluetooth speaker. The drippy design comes courtesy of one of our favourite artists, Jen Stark, who wanted it to feel like music was oozing out of it. The speaker is waterproof and comes with it’s own floatation device if you want to take it to the lake or the pool.

Ultimate Ears, a brand of Logitech, have created a pretty spectacular Bluetooth speaker called the UE Boom. I’m not just posting about this because its name happens to be Boom, I was sent one of them to test out and it’s become my go-to wireless speaker.
It’s loud as hell, and actually pretty heavy for its size, but that’s probably why the low end sounds pretty good on it. Anyways, I wouldn’t be giving one away to you unless it was a quality product. So who wants it?
*Edit – I actually have five(5) speakers to give away! So I’m extending the giveaway until end of day Monday.
Our coolest giveaway yet comes from Danish audio company Libratone. They make high-end wireless speakers for iPhone, iPod, and iPad, and when I say high-end I’m talkin’ $700 a pop.
Libratone has collaborated with German designer Lizzy Courage to make six handmade limited edition “World of Comics” speakers! The five pictured above have been given out to five art blogs and I get to give away the red one! Who wants it?
