Tom Williams, a designer in London, happened to catch a couple city workers painting text onto a road and the footage is so satisfying to watch. I have so many questions! This dude with the roller is a master, are all city road painters this skilled? I always assumed stencils were involved? If anyone out there has more insight into this I would love to hear from you.

This week the @Booooooom Instagram is being handed over to Sydney-based typographer Gemma O’Brien. Normally I’d put the person’s name over top of the intro image with a font but it would be an injustice to do so here as the beauty of Gemma’s work is that it is hand-lettered.
She recently had a brilliant solo show which featured her illustrations on barf bags called “You Make Me Sick”. Her job this week is to have fun and inspire you and I’m sure she will do lots of both. Please give her a warm welcome.
Loving this Calligraphy Blanket designed by Drury Brennan. It reads: “In life, it is essential to be comfortable. To snuggle up with a puppy or loved one is a rare occurrence in an increasingly cold world. Get warm, stay warm – Open yourself up to true moments of joy.”
Isn’t that beautiful? See more images below!
