Rhett Dashwood dropped me a line to tell me about his project, Google Maps Typography. Looks like Eric Tabuchi has some competition in the found letters department!

Yehrin Tong definitely makes my shortlist for creative typographers and all around insane graphic designers. Visit Tong’s site and you will immediately try to bookmark it, unfortunately your head will have already exploded making this task quite difficult.

Some crispy illustrations and typography care of Brazilian-born Doug Alves (Nacionale). The guy is 25 and has a client list that makes me want to start binge drinking. Love his type work.

TYPEFLASH has brought my productivity to a stand still. SO FUN. You can play around with several animated typefaces, customize them, save them, email them, print them, embed them. Pretty much the only thing they forgot on the site was a bib to catch all drool. (Give my little creation a second or two to load!)

Laser Type by Oscar & Ewan. I love stuff like this – people coming up with “outside the box” ways of creating typefaces. High-powered laser pen, some mirrors, and a camera (and cigars apparently!).
