Slitscanner.js

Slitscanner.js by sha hwang
Sha Hwang has created a bookmarklet that you can add to your browser and use it to slitscan any Youtube or Vimeo video! Just drag this link to your bookmark bar: slitscanner. Then open a video in Vimeo (make sure you are using HTML5) and click on the bookmarklet. SO COOOL.

I created the above image using this Lazer Sword video (this is also the example Sha uses on his site). Sha says users can download the code and modify it. He’s publishing slitscans to: shahwang.tumblr.com

POW WOW HAWAII 2012: Part III

Here’s the third and final part of the Pow Wow Hawaii 2012 recap video. This one gives you a little peek at the house that all the artists (30+ people) stay at, as well as the opening night madness at Loft in Space.

Pow Wow 2013 will see many of these artists returning, but there’s gonna be a bunch of new blood, including: Dalek, Dabs and Myla, Jeff Soto, Andrea Wan, Kid Zoom, Hannah Stouffer, Faith47, Nychos, Patrick Martinez, Herakut, Reka, Yoskay Yamamoto, Tanja Jade, Remi Mead and a million others! Definitely a lot more female artists. I can’t wait.
