Record label and audio-visual laboratory King Deluxe is hosting a competition to turn the imaginative worlds of Mike Winkelmann (aka Beeple) into VR environments that people can explore together! The aim of the contest is to motivate 3D artists to think more about VR design. First prize is your choice of either a HTC Vive or Oculus Rift (or the monetary equivalent). The deadline of August 14th and the judge of the competition is, of course, Beeple himself!
Given the fact that Beeple has created at least one new work a day for the past decade, there are tons of scenes to choose from. Click here for more information and check out more inspirational artwork below!
