A series of 3D printed hand-drawn vases by London-based artist Joey Yu (previously featured here). Created using 3D powder printing and a 2D stretched shape, Yu offers an updated take on traditional Chinese ceramics. As she describes the project:
“The designs I kept pretty traditional, with subtle modern nods in each such as a car, a girl on her phone for example. They all capture a slow, tender moment, stretching it out forever in time. I like to think of it as sculpture poetry.”
