A round-up of our favourite videos featured on Booooooom TV. From the beautifully simple to the delightfully complex, this week’s selection represents a range of artists we should all be keeping our eyes on!
“The Offering” by Elenor Kopka
A delightfully weird animated short about a worm and a vase by German illustrator and animator Elenor Kopka.
Benjamin Francis Leftwich – “Gratitude”
London-based director and photographer Harvey Pearson captures a young man’s struggle to let go of the past in one beautiful take.
Blood Cultures – “Dunk On Me” (Mature)
A stylish high school horror for New Jersey band Blood Cultures’ track “Dunk On Me.” Directed by Blood Cultures and New York City-based filmmaking collective Idle House.
“Transmission” by Varun Raman & Tom Hancock
Reminiscent of Terry Gilliam’s 1985 classic, Brazil, Bristol-based writing and directing duo Varun Raman and Tom Hancock (aka Parallel Madness) explore the violence of civility in this absurd-yet-timely drama.
These are just a few of the many fantastic submissions we’ve featured on Booooooom TV in the past week. If you have films/videos you’d like to submit, head over here.
