A selection of recent work by Brooklyn-based artist and designer Daliah Ammar (previously featured here). Based on her memories of Palestine, where nightly burning of trash and crops along the highways is a common practice, these fire paintings explore Ammar’s sense of displacement from Palestinian culture as she’s grown older.
