Some gorgeous paintings from Los Angeles-based artist Andrew Hem’s new show, which opens this weekend in Paris:
“The show talks about time and space. There’s a lot of reference to water because they are like time to me. I’ve been traveling so much that I forget where I’ve been most times. My memory has become fragmented like the water. Traveling has always been something that I sought after at a young age but traveling so much by yourself you forget the simplest things a few years after. What I do remember is the travels spent doing something special with someone special.”
