“Spectrum” by Low Bros

Artist duo Low Bros have collaborated with Deusche Krebshilfe (German Cancer Aid) and ADP on an installation at Berlin’s Reinbeckhallen art and culture center called, “Spectrum”. To view the work attendees must wear protective suits as the piece utilizes intense UV light (53 UV-lighting tubes) as it was specifically designed to create a discussion around malignant melanoma—the most aggressive form of skin cancer. It develops in about 37,000 people in Germany every year, a country where roughly 1 in 10 use a tanning bed for relaxation.
