A selection of recent drawings and paintings by one of our favs, Okinawa-based artist ONEQ. As is often the case, these works feature strong, mysterious women from Japanese hostess clubs. I always love the way she renders the dark flowing hair and the eyes especially. I was fortunate to meet up with her on my last trip to Japan and she showed my wife and I stacks of incredible drawings. These images really don’t do the works justice.
