A selection of recent work by Santa Fe-based artist Mike Nudelman (previously featured here). Presenting familiar materials in unfamiliar ways, Nudelman’s methodically layered ballpoint pen strokes create the appearance of pixels on an illuminated screen. A fitting aesthetic as many of his drawings are based on melancholic UFO photographs from the 1970s and 80s. See more images below.
