Artist Spotlight: Jiab Prachakul

A selection of paintings by contemporary figurative artist Jiab Prachakul, who was born in Nakhon Phanom, a small town in north-east, Thailand. In 2007, she moved to London and saw a David Hockney exhibition and that was the moment she decided to pursue art. She moved from London to Berlin and then to Lyon, and this year she moved to Vannes, a town in Brittany, where she continues to explore and develop her work, focusing particularly on the Asian identity and her experience as an Asian artist living outside of her home country.
