Photographer Spotlight: Rick Erfmann

Amsterdam-based photographer Rick Erfmann describes his style as “a deliberate conflict of the obvious and surprising.” A slightly ironic personal record, his work brings together staged images with snapshots of happenstance from daily life. Obsessed with the photographic process, Erfmann searches for a dreamy, “unpolished” quality in his exposure, cultivating “a refined approach to intimacy.”
