Sébastien Cuvelier is a Belgian photographer currently based in Luxembourg. His work explores how humans build and live their dreams, fantasies, and hopes in search of utopian ideals. He has published four photobooks, the most recent of which — “Paradise City” (GOST Books, 2020) — is a quest to locate an “elusive, dreamlike version of paradise in Iran”. Cuvelier’s work has been shown across Europe, including at Rencontres d’Arles, FOMU Antwerp, and Biel/Bienne photography festival.
