Artist Spotlight: Mogu Takahashi

Mogu Takahashi is a self taught Japanese artist who lives and works in Tokyo. Her art is humorous, spontaneous and playful. She says, “For me drawing is like writing a letter to someone. I like to hide little messages in the painting, only my friends can understand.”

She has had solo exhibitions in Japan, Paris, Barcelona, Melbourne and Stockholm, and has collaborated with various brands, including Gucci and Shiseido. This Summer, keep an eye out for her first children’s book with Emma Virke “Poodles Eating Noodles”, published in Sweden.
