A selection of paintings by Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based artist Sierra Montoya Barela. Living in the realm of still lifes and invented or imagined spaces, Barela’s recent work plays with perspective, symbolism, and perception. A selection of these paintings are currently on display as part of her solo show, “Everywhere and Here,” at Post Gallery Zurich. Made in response to last year’s dramatic shift in the rhythms of daily life, this body of work turns toward the domestic realm, celebrating interiors and objects within the home.
