Artist Spotlight: Flor Marrapodi

Flor Marrapodi (aka Podri) is a painter based in her home city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. After working as a tattoo artist for nearly six years, Marrapodi found her way to painting at the beginning of the pandemic. She began to paint daily, and fell in love with the practice. Her paintings reflect the heavy times the world has experienced during the past few years. “My paintings are about people, sadness, and struggle,” she says. “Also about our relationship with animals, and their important company.”
