A selection of drawings by Australian artist Lucy Ray. Currently living in Abu Dhabi, Ray’s reimagined landscapes are meditations on loneliness and liminality. Composed over fourteen drawings, “The Ghost Who Walks” tells a story with no natural narrative. The artworks are quiet and serene with remnants of figures drifting through a seemingly abandoned world. The viewer’s experience is that of happening upon a scene that’s already played out — of witnessing the traces left behind for those who came in late.
