Happy holidays everyone! We’ve got a fun opportunity for you, made possible by our friends at Monos! We’re setting aside a bunch of our art and photo books so that 100 of you can send someone you know a book for free (*just pay shipping). You can also give us a short message and we’ll write a little note (by hand) and send it with the book. We would love it if you choose someone who would not expect it as it’s meant to be a surprise! For us, these little experiments are what Booooooom is really about. We’re always looking for unique ways to get more art out into the world and help people connect with one another, and we’re thrilled that Monos wanted to support this!

If you know a photographer, artist, or illustrator who would love an art or photo book, this is your chance to surprise them. It really could be anyone you think would benefit from receiving a little art in their life.

We only have 100 spots open, and unfortunately this little project is only available to Canada and US. This is just another one of our experiments, so we’ll see where this takes us in the future!

GUIDELINES (PLEASE READ)

You, as the sender, may be based anywhere in the world, however the person receiving the book needs to have an address in Canada or the US. We are trying our best to have books sent right away, and while we can’t control the craziness of shipping during this season, this keeps it as manageable as possible.
You may include a short message in the note section of the checkout page. Please limit it to 1 sentence and your name. We will write your message on a piece of paper and include it with the book. If you forget to give us a message we will write something short and sweet for you.
We have set all book prices to $0 while supplies last. You only need to pay shipping ($7 USD).
Please do not send multiple books, we are hoping for as many different people as possible to get a chance to do this!

DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS (PLEASE READ)

Choose someone you want to send a book to (make sure you have their correct address and that it is in Canada or the US).
Head over to the 100 Small Surprises page in our shop.
Pick one of our books and press “Add to cart”, then press “View cart” (on mobile) or click the cart in the top right on Desktop.
On that page, there is a little section where you can “Add a note to your order” – this is where you can write a little note that you want to send with the book, and also add your name!
Then, press checkout and fill out their address (you can keep your own email in there so you can follow the package along and see when it gets to them). For the billing, you will need to fill out your own details and pay shipping at that point.
