A collection of black and white images by self-taught photographer Natassja Santistevan. Intertwining ideas of identity and space, Santistevan’s work sifts through the layers of the social and personal, using environments to evoke moments of play, vulnerability, and introspection. “Mono No Aware” is made up of moments that represent the passage of time and the emotions that come with it. Santistevan captures objects and nature as a tool to reflect a melancholic beauty in the fleeting moments of solitude, where the external world reflects the internal journey.
