We got so many amazing submissions to this project we’re doing it again! If you submitted last time you can definitely submit again!
We’d love to see people go out and shoot new portraits specifically for this project but if you’ve already shot a great portrait of someone that fits the theme of “a moment of reflection”, you’ll just need to ask the subject to send you their answer to the question and make sure you have their permission to share their image here.
If you’re shooting a portrait specifically for this project you should ask the subject think of their answer while you shoot the photo! This will help the subject have a natural expression on their face and also give you an opportunity to snap a photo or two with their guard down.
Please include the following things with your submission:
- Your photo (JPG format, 1200 px wide)
- Your full name
- Your subject’s first name
- Your subject’s answer to the question: “Knowing what you know now, what’s one piece of advice you would give to your younger self?”
- Your subject’s occupation
- The location of the photo
