I'm Gracie Lofthouse, a paper-based maker based in London.

I like creating little worlds with papier-mâché, photographing them, and making them come to life through stop-motion animation.

I’m currently working on the 3D Tarot Card project - where I’m creating models of each card, slowly working my way through the entire deck.

I’ve always been fascinated by Tarot: less for the fortune-telling aspect, more for the imagery it contains. It’s like a gallery of symbols - showing how different cultures and eras have interpreted the same handful of ideas in different ways.

I’m doing the entire thing by hand, frame by frame, shooting everything on my phone.
