A Geisha’s Tale

The photos I took for this project are the result of years of trips to Japan, always making a stop at Gion, Kyoto, where you can meet these girls as they reach the job, or when returning to their okiya, the residences where girls are studying, training and hosting.
Of these girls have always fascinated me their proud abode and their elegance and photographing them in the context of the district of Gion is like going back in time, in the period when these artists entertained feudal Japan.
I do not have a kind of photo that I prefer, I love photography as a whole, I love taking pictures and I love moments when I do it, I am passionate about Japan, its culture and everything that comes out of it, whenever I find myself in the Land of the Levant for me it's a dream come true.
