The women in these paintings are not characters or fantasies – they are reflections of how I have felt at different moments in my life. Each image comes from a real emotion: feeling peaceful, overwhelmed, hopeful, nostalgic, grounded, lost, or quietly strong. I paint these inner states through symbolic scenes rather than literal ones. Animals, color, and surreal elements appear as memory and intuition, not decoration. They represent comfort, longing, connection, or escape, depending on the moment. Together, these works form a record of what it feels like to move through life as a woman – learning, adjusting, caring, and finding a sense of self as life unfolds.
