Stu Brown is an English artist based in Melbourne, Australia. His work comes from careful observation of colour, form, shape and the natural world. The collages presented show a continuing exploration of colour trends in print media and advertising. Each colour panel is abstracted from magazines, booklets, catalogues and other print ephemera and reassembled using traditional hand-made collage techniques to encourage dynamic and organic relationships between colour and form.
