I paint creatures that don’t exist: organs, cells, eggs and embryos, invented as organic forms. Again and again there are two of them, side by side, merged, or dissolving into the ground. Each canvas is built by hand with thousands of small strokes, a mosaic that reads as one body from across the room and as pure texture up close. I am a Lebanese-Canadian painter based in Beirut, self-taught, painting full time since 2020. Works: Intertwined 1, 2022; The Gaze, 2022; Face of the Universe, 2022; The Skin, 2022; The Endless Seed, 2024; You and Me, 2026. Acrylic on unstretched canvas, about 100 cm each.
