Memories in Mist

My practice explores how landscape becomes a carrier of memory, mythology, and cultural identity. I am interested in the ways places acquire meanings beyond their physical form, and how a forest, field, or river can become associated with ideas of origin, inheritance, or folklore through the narratives attached to it over time.
Working primarily with analogue photography, I bring together landscape, the human figure, folklore, and memory to examine how personal experience intersects with inherited narratives. Stories may change, fragment, or disappear, while their traces remain present in the way a place is remembered.
