This series is part of a retelling of Alice in Wonderland. This version takes place in an urban setting in the 90s, Alice experiences the loss of parent and follows the White Rabbit into Wonderland as a metaphor for moving through her grief. These pieces are meant to reflect the non linear stages of grieving.
I'm inspired by the combination of vintage and futuristic aesthetics, and I like to combine these juxtaposing styles and techniques. I'm motivated by storytelling and world building, and I always try to create an implied history, dynamic characters, and authentic settings in my work.
